LONDON, July 25, 2019 -- CME Group, the world's leading and most diverse derivatives marketplace, today announced the launch of Black Sea Sunflower Oil Financially Settled (Platts) futures (based on Sunflower Oil FOB Black Sea Ukraine), to begin trading on August 26, 2019, pending all relevant regulatory review periods.

Last September, Diligent Capital Partners, a Private Equity fund, jointly with the development bank of the Kingdom of the Netherlands FMO, closed a landmark deal in the agricultural sector after years of inactivity in the market. Together they purchased 16% of Allseeds – one of the major producers and exporters of vegetable oils and meals in Ukraine.

According to charter brokers, the demand for tonnage clearly exceeds the amount of available fleet, which forces charterers to improve their offerings in order to avoid breaking contracts.

As a socially responsible company, Allseeds is committed to protecting the health of workers and enhancing the environmental protection and safety. Therefore, the Allseeds Company has been continuously implementing the approved ESAP Environmental Protection and Social Action Plan.

The number “100,000” became  lucky for the Allseeds Group in April 2019: it is 100,000 tons that the storage capacity of the Vegetable Oils Terminal now equals to, and it is 100,000 tons of oil that the Company loaded during this month.

Ukraine has significantly increased oilseeds products export: for 8 months 2018/19 m/y (September-April) the sunflower oil export amounted to 4147 thousand tons against 3707 thousand tons in 2017/18 m/y, an increase of 12%. This is evidenced by state customs data.

Sergii Prysiazhniuk  has been appointed to the position of Operations Director of Allseeds Group, General Director of LLC "Allseeds Black Sea”. Mr. Prysiazhniuk  has 25 years of experience in the vegoil industry of Ukraine, for a long time held the highest responsible positions at the PLC “Vinnytskyi oil and fat production plant”, the Industrial Group “VIOIL”,  the OREXIM Group.

According to the results of vegoil export transshipment from the harvest of 2018, the Sea Commercial Port Yuzhny the first time reached the 3-rd place among the ports of Ukraine with a volume of 905 thousand tons or over 23%.

One of the largest producers and exporters of vegetable oils in Ukraine - Allseeds Group on March 13, 2019 formed a new Supervisory Board.It was headed by Dan Pasko - managing partner of Diligent Capital Partners investment company.
