Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine, Vitaliy Koval, conducted a working visit to the Odesa region, where he reviewed the operations of the oil extraction plant LLC “Allseeds Black Sea.” The enterprise is a key player in the processing and export of vegetable oils and meals, ensuring supply to global markets, including China, India, the Middle East, and EU countries.
During the visit, the Minister inspected the plant’s production facilities, technological processes for oilseed processing, and transshipment infrastructure. He emphasized the enterprise's strategic role in the agricultural sector and the national economy. “The plant and terminal of the company facilitate the processing and transshipment of vegetable oils and meals for global distribution. 'Allseeds Black Sea' exemplifies the resilience of Ukrainian agribusiness, which, despite repeated missile attacks, continues to ensure food security, sustain the economy, and expand market access for domestic products,” Koval stated.
As part of the visit, the Minister held discussions with the plant’s management regarding the enterprise’s operational stability, logistical challenges, and industry development prospects. Particular attention was given to state initiatives aimed at supporting agribusiness, including compensation programs for war-related damages and measures to stimulate exports.
In addition to meetings with management, the Minister engaged with the plant’s workforce, recognizing their expertise and resilience in challenging conditions. He also examined production processes on-site, overseeing all stages of raw material processing and product preparation for export.
Vitalii Koval underscored the importance of supporting processing enterprises, which play a critical role in maintaining and strengthening Ukraine’s position in the global agricultural market. “The Odesa region is not only an agricultural hub but also a major industrial center for the processing and export of agricultural products,” he noted.
The working visit reinforced cooperation between the government and the private sector, aimed at ensuring the continued development and stability of Ukraine’s agricultural industry in the face of ongoing challenges.
