16 of April 2021 Allseeds team arrived at Kutsky forestry of Ivano-Frankivsk region to plant trees on 2,3 hectares (Tract “Mel”, Quarter 7). It is the first phase of a broader reforestation initiative, which forms part of the company’s plan to scale up actions in agriculture and deploy nature-based solutions to improve the ecological situation in Ukraine and worldwide.
“Climate change is one of society's greatest challenges of nowadays and it impacts all areas of our lives. To help combat the causes of global warming, Allseeds starts an ecological project which is determined to reduce the influence of CO2 emissions by planting new forests around Ukraine and to restore existing forests”, - Chief Operation Officer Bjoern STENDEL told the journalists in his interview.
Allseeds is one of the largest producers and exporters of vegetable oils and meals in Ukraine, operating a modern oil extraction plant, transport company, and own transshipment terminal in the port of Pivdenny, Odesa region.

The first stage of the environmental project was carried out with the support and together with representatives of the Kutsky forestry, Kosiv District State Administration, Ivano-Frankivsk Regional Department of Forestry and Hunting, students the 11th grade of the Kosmach Lyceum named after Omelyan Kovchunder, and students of the 9th grade of the Kosmach-Banivska Gymnasium, under the guidance of their tutors.
